The HOMINIDAE project took a closer look on how the visual contents are created in Animated GIF format. It also tried to foresee its use, not only as a visual aesthetic that allows new perspectives to the digital representation of the real world, but also to understand how the format itself can define the way we digitally capture and construct reality.
